Leon is a strong, gripping action drama about a lonely Italian professional killer (Jean Reno) in New York. He befriends Mathilda, a 12-year-old girl (Natalie Portman) with traumatic experiences behind her. For the first time, Leon has someone to care about. Mathilda quickly shows interest in his occupation and quickly sees her chance to learn in order to take revenge on the one who murdered her father and brother. The conflict escalates between a professional killer, who slowly discovers the ability to live and love, and a policeman (Gary Oldman) who will do anything to get rid of an eyewitness. All for the sake of a little girl, who has almost nothing left to lose.
